The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission

(CRTC) which is the public authority regulating and supervising

the Canadian broadcasting system, has received an application

concerning the broadcasting licence of this station.  The

application is by "TRENT RADIO". The purpose of this application

is to renew its broadcast licence to operate CFFF FM 92.7fm in

Peterborough.



If you wish to obtain more information about the application

involving this station, a copy of the complete documentation is

available for public viewing during normal office hours at the

Bata Library Reserve Desk, Trent University, Peterborough,

Ontario.  You can also write to the CRTC at Ottawa, Ontario, K1A

0N2 if you wish to obtain more information.



Members of the public can make their views known to the CRTC

regarding the application of this station.  To make your views

known, follow this procedure:



   Write your comments and send one copy by registered mail or

   personal delivery to the applicant - Trent Radio, c/o Trent

   University, Peterborough, Ontario K9J 7B8, to be received by

   Friday, September the 8th, 2000.  Send another copy to the

   CRTC, Ottawa, Ontario, K1A 0N2, also to be received on or

   before Friday, September the 8th, 2000.  Along with the copy

   which you send to the CRTC, make sure you enclose the postal

   or messenger receipt to show the Commission that you have

   sent your comments to the applicant.
