Promethean Site Visit #2 - Overnight 13&14Feb97



   Install half-height 19" ancillary rack w. door and internal

        isolated ground bar {fu: paint and door handle}



   Lay new AC circuits for ancillary & Harris Xmtr rack.

        Install AC to ancillary rack



   Remove and re-install TRadio QEI Xmtr & related equipment from

        (old) full height rack to temporary rack.



   Remove and re-install KRUZ STL and combiner from (old) full

        height rack to new ancillary rack.



   Replace flex line section from TRadio QEI xmtr to rigid

        transmission Line with Heliax version

Prior to Promethean Site Visit #3:

        jack.



   Locate new slug for RF wattmeter



   Locate dummy load unit.



   Notify Industry Canada per testing Site Visit #4  (done)



   TRadio Work:



   Modify silence detector to match Harris RF mute control.





   TRadio Work: week Wed/Thurs 19/20 Mar 97

   Transport FM Transmitter: Harris  from Toronto to CHEX, Ptbo.  Crated

        weight 375lbs. {fu: arrange van & driver and two roadies Ptbo.}





Promethean Site Visit #3 - 20 Mar 97



   Install & prepare Harris Xmtr.  This will involve interruption of

        programming on 96.3MHz, to allow use of the new Xtmr to perform

        tests on existing transmission line and connectors.  Also, this

        time will be used to ascertain necessary audio processing

        calibration. Interruption of 12 hours approx



   Install 24 x 1 long frame 1/4" bpo-type patch bay



   Install receiver system /w Bell Lines on tape monitor input.





Prior to Promethean Site Visit #4:



   Promethean Work:

   Prepare and tune replacement antenna - Cablewave ECFM-2 - for 92.7Mhz



   TRadio Work:

   to be determined.



Promethean Site Visit #4 - 27Mar - 3Apr97

   Remove existing (96.3Mhz) antenna from CHEX tower. {note: antenna

        to Promethean}



   Replace corroded antenna & pipe hardware.  Check and replace

        transmission line fasteners as necessary.



   Test integrity and performance of existing 1/2" transmission line and

        connector. Replace line, connectors and grounding kit as necessary.



   Install replacement (92.7MHz) antenna on CHEX-TV tower.  Fine tune

        antenna in situ.



   Make baseline measurements of Harris and transmission chain

        performance in situ.



   Adjust and Set audio transmission chain to optimise S/N &

        modulation per regulations.



   Make necessary adjustments and/or additions per compliance

        with Industry Canada instruction.



   Commission new Transmission System per Industry Canada

        approval





Post Site Visit #4



   Promethean:

   Notify Industry Canada that the Transmission System is

        operating in compliance with the technical brief filed

        and any further IC instructions.



   Manufacture, install and calibrate signal & modulation

        monitor equipment with digital receiver, and meter panel

        at TRadio House - Studio A.



      - Details: One meter for signal strength.  Two switched

        meters for modulation reading. With Switch in position

        #1: modulation meters read Left and Right.  In position

        #2: meters read Left+Right and Left-Right. Unit shall

        also comprise two rack mounted loudspeakers and 1/4"

        front panel headphone socket with gain control, and gain

        independent outputs on rear of the unit. Audio output to

        follow LR / L+R & L-R switch.



   Provide all manuals and documentation per project.



Contingency & Associated Items

   Replace Transmission Line with upgrade cable: - indicated by

        current transmission line failing test.



      - remove current transmission line as tower

        grandfathered.



      - install 80m of new 1/2" LD4-50A /w ground and N type

        connectors.



   Overhaul Harris Xmtr - indicated by failing burn in test.



   Additional Low Pass Filtering:

      - in field determination to meet intermodulation

        specifications and regulations.



 Disposition of QEI Exciter & RF Amp:

      - keep /w overhaul and re-tune to 92.7MHz or trade-in to .

        Promethean. Decision pending.
