Physical Plant and Technical Report for Trent Radio AGM 13Feb00 Derek Martin / jkm A total of $1,354.57 was spent on repair and maintenance in the part of Trent Radio House used for radio, with $360 spend on clean up during the shutdown, $352.00 on a building inspection, $285 for light bulbs, toilet paper and janitorial, and $58.00 for two chair and a replacement vacuum cleaner. The only major office equipment purchase was an office chair ($200) The total for technical repairs was $3,144.12, with $2,150 spent on audio equipment repair. Of this about $350 was used to replace broken styli, and about the same again to repair the turntables in Studio A. A new sneeze guard and slip wedge was designed and installed ($275) and should less the wear on these units. The balance of audio repair expense was made up of repairs to the EELA (on-air) board ($260), VCR logger maintenance ($50), and a equipment cleaning and overhaul in December and August ($900). $500.80 was spent on transmitter maintenance, $350 on connectors, batteries and wires, and $133.92 on computer repairs. Major technical purchases include two new Windows 98 compliant computers and upgrades to the units in Studio A, Studio B and the Archive room. ($4,350). The expense was covered by donations and a rental fee received from the Full Moon Over Killaloe project. Expenditures for the upper apartment amounted to $1,050, with $600 spent on new carpet and flooring. The building inspection showed us to be in need of new eavestroughing and a better drainage system around the outside of the building. [end]
