Report for Board of Directors Meeting 19 June 2002 from the Summer Programme Co-ordinator Nick Iszakovits, June 18, 2002 I began my position as Trent Radio's Summer Programme Co- ordinator on May 6, 2002. My primary concerns at that time were becoming familiar with the volunteer Executive Producers and programmers, as well as attending to the daily operations of Trent Radio, which included setting office hours, responding to mail and telephone enquiries, facilitating executive producers with programming decisions, archiving CDs and general cleaning and maintenance, and listening for the brokered programming every weekday morning. During the past month and a half, I have convened two Executive Producers meetings; compiled the Summer 2002 programme schedule; co-ordinated a programme promo party; and made preparations for the Live Music on the Lawn outdoor music day for June 20, 2002. I have also organized a tour and workshop for the Community Training and Development Centre's Media Arts day camp, which will take place on July 2, 2002 and an information session for participants in Trent University's SECC program, which will take place on July 10, 2002. Laura Farina, with the help of Nathan Rambukkana, Emily Addison and Barb Woolner, organized and carried out a Radio Project Day for Convocation on May 31, 2002. Last, but not least, John Muir hosted a volunteer social on May 21, 2002. Further plans for the summer include: - a live outdoor radio day for July 16, 2002 - a volunteer/programmer appreciation barbecue - a second program promo party - a Radio Project Day to coincide with the Peterborough Folk Festival in August Programming Information for Summer 2002, as of June 18 We have: 7 Executive Producers: Nick Iszakovits John K.
