General Manager's Report for the BoD Meeting 12 Sep 02 SCP 2002 We received support for 720 hours this year over the 480 subsidy hours awarded last summer. This means we were able to hire Daniel Chuan Tat to undertake some badly needed painting and repairs. in addition to hiring the Summer Programme Coordinator which was staffed by Nick Iszakotivs. My thanks to Nick and Daniel for jobs well done. Also, Glen Caradus has done a wonderful job in the Trent Radio gardens and we amount $50 for plantings Shutdown Cleanup and repairs - please see Summer Physical Plant & Annual Maintenance report. Still to do: Porch and Upr Stair bottom. Barb Woolner started 19Aug02. Her contract is to 23May03 (40wks) Logger: we either need to buy new VHS tapes or rely on the computer logger. I recommend we purchase a second computer to operate as a redundant logger. OWSP2003 The grant is $6,185.20 toward total payroll spending of $8246.93. Trent Radio is liable for $2,061.73. Her contract is to 23May03 (40wks) Trillium Foundation At the end of July we received a follow-up letter from Jackie Powell the Trillium representative in Peterborough, which contained fifteen questions relating to our "Studio C" application and wanting more detailed specifics. A an eighty-four page response was duly prepared and sent on 09 Aug 02. In attendance was Jackie Powell, two Triilium volunteer assessors, and Emily Addison, Al Kirkcaldy, Barb Woolner and myself from Trent Radio. The meeting went reasonably well and we are to hear from Trillium again after 27 Sep 02 CSIRP Two AudioSoup events 10&11Nov02 Guelph & 14&15 Feb03 - Gross Revenue for these is about $3,800 each In negotiation for a CSIRP & CHMA sponsored July 03 event in Dorchester, NB $1,250 and teaching at the Full Moon August 03 event in Quebec ($600).
