1998-99 Entre Season Follow-up Report: Melanie Hannah

I think the Entre Season went great this year. It was a little rocky
at first but things were okay. However there were a few mishaps.

Christmas eve the Holtman's agreed to lock up so I could get out of
their a little early. I was not aware that the key they had would
open the door but not close it, neither did they! They tried for a
long time but could not successfully close the door. They phoned
Sahver and she told them to lock all the inside doors and set the
alarm. Henry Holtman called me on christmas day and I came in and
locked it that morning.

The other problem involved one of the programmers guest. Jamie
Gillespie brought a guest for a show he was doing and he began to eat
in the studio. Jamie told him not to, then me, then John (who was
there at the time). When confronted Chris(his name) acted like an
a**. Sorry for the language but there's not other way to put it. He
was dealt with and will never be returning to Trent Radio.

Last but definitely not least. On Jan.1,'99 ED showed up to program. As
you know the season was from dec.22 to dec.31. This was not good. I
had called him to reschedule a couple of weeks before programming
started and his roommate answered and told me he was gone for the
holiday's. I had decided not to worry about it because if he's not
here he can't program. Ed came from Toronto on Jan 1 just to program
and then he was going to go back. That was the mistake that I felt
really bad about.

Well that was a depressing three paragraphs. I am pleased to announce
the lack of CD's missing. At the end of the season I grazed over many
of the new cd's and found none missing. I also watched them like a
hawk during the season.(that could've helped!)

I think the season went great and I'd like to thank all the Operators
and programmers for helping me out. It was amazing. That's all I got
so see all later.
