Social Committee Report for the BoD 07 May 1999 Two successful Radio Salons and one hell of a party constituted the (official) social side of Trent Radio this term. Gayle Young (composer) and Paul Dutton (sound poet) gave workshops and led discussions at the Hangman Pub. Both events were well attended and the discussion was lively. Huge thanks are due to John Muir for opening his house on April 13 for a year-end programmer's social. It followed the delightful Radio on the Lawn open house, giving us all a chance to unwind, celebrate and talk about vampires. The event was originally intended as a Radio Salon, but serious discussion appeared to be unnecessary in light of the day's stunning radio performance by all. Respectfully Submitted, Ellen Waterman
