Spoken Word Committee Report for the BoD  07 May 99

It seems as though each time I report on the Spoken Word archives things 
get worse and worse. 

Although it may seem this way, be assured that all is running smoother 
than ever.  As it is already known the data entry person was replaced when 
the last person was unable to fulfil their duties.  Recently archivist 
Anne Harrison was unable to continue on with her job therefore we are once 
again down to two people.  This however is a positive thing. With Kristine 
coming in to Trent Radio regularly, I am able to work one on one with her, 
correcting past mistakes and preparing for the future of the archives.  We 
have met our goal for this year which was to finish all that is in the 
Operator's room and now we will continue with making necessary corrections 
as well as making the record book, computer and all notes recorded 
accessible to those working on the project next year. As long as I can 
keep my last dangling archivist with me until the end, all will be 
sunshine and lollipops!
