General Manager's Report for the BoD 17 Jun 1999 Notes: We have received 80% of the SCP grant - $3068.00 We sold about $1,200 of publicy to Elections Ontario & $200 to the local NDP campaign per the recent provincial election. A cheque from CSIRP $10,000 for disbursement of the Full Moon over Killaoe project is on its way. The total billing for the Sociology Lecture Web and CD project will be $1,050. The labels are almost done. We are also "digitising" a three minute video of Trent University's new chancellor. The Studio A turntables are now repaired for about $315.00. A a "sneeze-guard & slip wedge" design has been devised to protect the turntables. The cost is $250.00. Contruction and installation recommended. We are investigating a Trillium Foundation Grant. We have been approached by Gary Francis to use the TRadio property for the purpose of the selling hot dogs. This is recommended with the monies to be used to help defray the costs of winter snow clearing and summer plantings. There is a terrible though intermittent buzz on the Bell lines to CHEX. Repairs are difficult to coordinate with CHEX and Bell. Addendum to the General Manager's Report for the BoD Meeting 17 Jun 99 Re: Ontario Work Study Programme (OWSP) 1999_0 - not approved.
