Physical Plant & Technical Report for the BoD Meeting 29Sep99

Well, it's been another month, and Trent Radio's been a bustlin' with
action... Terry Etheridge, the building inspector, is in the midst of
preparing a document that lists all possible improvements to the Trent
Radio Building, right down to which parts of which specific windows
could be touched up! As of last week, the document had reached the none-
too-tidy length of 22 pages.

Also of note is the fact that what began last season as a dream has now
been metamorphosed into a cute network of 4 pentium2 class computers---
located in Studios A & B, as well as in Barb and John's offices.  This
is moving us along quite nicely, and relatively quickly, towards the
goal of having a physical-media-free (or at least inaccessible to the
individual programmer)radio station with an mp3 based digital archive.

Lastly, I've noticed a nifty new sneeze-guard type thing hovering over
the now functioning turntables. which will be handy considering the
number of spin-style applications that flooded BarbW's desk :)

I believe that those are the major goings on since the last meeting, so
without further adieu, back to the rest of *this* document.
