Date: Fri, 03 Dec 1999 15:40:56 -0500 (EST) From: Emily To: Board of Directors Propaganda and Community Links Report Prepared for December 10 1999 Since the last meeting, the resolution passed by Trent Radio's Board of Directors was sent to Bonnie Patterson, president of Trent University, through her secretary in letter form (it was dropped off). It was also emailed to the Senate and Board of Govenors for Trent University via their respected secretaries. Copies were made and passed out in various locations, including at Trent Radio. The letter with the resolution was placed by an anonymous individual on the 'angelfire' web page which has other information pertaining to the Superbuild project, the closing of the downtown colleges, etc. It should be noted that the chalk interview/soundclip produced by Trent Radio has also been placed on that web page by an anonymous individual. The possibility of having Trent Radio's signal broadcast on the web might soon be becoming a reality. COGECO cable has been contacted as to perhaps broadcast Trent Radio live on their network for free in return for probably some advertising space on the site. There would be a link from Trent Radio's present page to the broadcast page. It is possible that this could also be done through Trent University but a response is being waited upon from COGECO first to see what they say. The idea for bumper stickers has come up. It seems like it would be a neat idea for those who like to support Trent Radio as well as identify with it. Designs will be worked upon over the Holiday break and will be brought to the final meeting. (Yes - hopefully they will be a shape to fit on bicycles for all those who ride instead of drive.)
